Trim Levels (Exterior)

There are six different trims to choose from with the Highlander. The base, LE comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, and a windshield wiper de-icer. Just a step up to the LE Plus will get you a power liftgate with height adjustment, fog lights, and a flip-up rear window. The XLE trim comes with a sunroof and roof rails and many extras inside. The SE starts with the features of the XLE and adds LED running lights and some sporty style accents, such as 19-inch wheels, and a sport-tuned suspension. </br></br> Bump up to the Limited for unique 19-inch wheels, a rear cargo cover, and LED running lights, or the Limited Platinum for extra safety features.

This engine comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and has front-wheel drive. All the other trims come standard with a 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 295 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque. This larger engine gets an eight-speed transmission and you can opt for all-wheel drive.
