1. Roomy Interior

When you hear subcompact, you’re probably wondering how much interior space you’ll have for your friends, family members, or gear. However, interior space is one of the areas in which the 2019 C-HR stands out among competitors. All five seats can easily accommodate adult passengers with room to spare. The cargo area is similar in size to other models in the segment, which isn’t massive but does offer more space than a small trunk.

In the base model, cabin features include dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-trimmed shift knob, cloth upholstery, adjustable front seats, a cargo area cover, and a front center armrest with a 12-volt outlet. Upgraded features include leather upholstery and heated front seats.

From the outside, the 2019 C-HR shows off stylish exterior features that also help it stand out in the crowded space. The body style includes an aerodynamic rear diffuser with a spoiler, front and rear wheel spats, color-keyed front and rear bumpers with sporty accents, LED daytime running lights, automatic projector-beam halogen headlights, a black front lower grille insert, and 17-inch steel wheels. You can also add chrome trim accents, a red rear bumper garnish, and sporty 18-inch alloy wheels.

3. High-End Tech

Staying connected and entertained while on the go is no problem with this subcompact crossover. Every model comes well-equipped with tech features like Toyota’s Entune 3.0 audio system with App Suite, an 8-inch touch screen, a six-speaker audio system, Siri Eyes Free voice controls and Apple CarPlay for iPhones, a USB port, and Bluetooth connectivity for phone calls and audio streaming. The upper trim levels come with a more advanced version of Entune, along with dynamic navigation, improved voice recognition capabilities, satellite radio, and a trial subscription of Wi-Fi Connect from Verizon.

4. Standard Safety Features

When you’re transporting precious cargo, safety is a top priority. The 2019 Toyota C-HR doesn’t disappoint in this regard, delivering impressive standard and available safety features to protect you and your passengers. Every model comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense P, a package that includes automatic high beams, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, and full-speed-range dynamic radar cruise control.

The interior also has 10 advanced airbags, along with anti-lock brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system, hill start assist control, a warning system for driver and front passenger seatbelts, and an electronic stability and traction control system.
