Sayville Marina Park

Sayville Marina Park has excellent views of the nearby marina, and in the summer you get the cool breeze coming off of the water. Relax and watch the boats come in with the kids, or see if you can find some crabs along the beach. You’d expect such a beautiful area to be busy, but it’s not often crowded. The picnic area is well-shaded, so even on a blistering hot day, you can enjoy a picnic with the family.

Elwood Park

Elwood Park has a small playground area, well-suited for younger children. There are lots of small slides and ladders for your adventurous little ones to explore. The small area makes it easy to keep an eye on the kids as they wander from one structure to the next, making their way across the playground. Bring a blanket and a picnic lunch, or let the children tire themselves out before having a nap on the grass in the shade.

East Williston Toddler Park

Situated close to the library, the East Williston Toddler Park is a convenient stop on your way home from a day with the toddlers. The ground is covered by mulch and wood chips and here the playground equipment is specifically designed for toddlers, so there’s little chance of accident or injury.  This is a perfect, clean spot to take the kids to burn off some extra energy before napping or bed.
