- Floating Roof
This year’s RAV4 also comes with some sharp-looking black-out accents that give it the popular “floating roof” look. Instead of a uniform exterior paint job, the RAV4 is more two-toned that last year’s, which gives it more personality on the road. The blacked-out features are located at the rear of the RAV4, near the top. The black lines, which stretch back to the liftgate, make the roof look like it’s sitting on nothing. - Facelift
One of the most noticeable changes its exterior has received this year is to the front fascia. Last year’s RAV4 front section curved down into a grille that was mainly covered up by the body. The 2019 incarnation throws that out the window and takes on more of a traditional SUV front fascia, full of angles and sharp lines.
